Overview
Marjorie graduated from Juniata College earning a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in International Political Economy and Spanish Literature. After college, she worked for a large claimant workers’ compensation law firm in Philadelphia, PA. Her interest in workers’ compensation law began there.
In 2020, Marjorie graduated Cum Laude from Widener Commonwealth Law School and obtained a Business Advising Certificate with honors. While in law school, Marjorie served on the Widener Law Review, where she authored a survey on when parking lots can be considered part of an employer's premises for workers' compensation purposes. Her survey titled “Parking Detour: Misunderstanding the Optional Requirement for Parking Lot Cases in Workers’ Compensation” was published in the Widener Commonwealth Law Review, Volume 30.
After graduating from Widener, Marjorie has exclusively practiced Pennsylvania workers’ compensation law. She spent the vast majority of her career representing employers and major insurance carriers in workers’ compensation litigation across Pennsylvania. She also worked at a law firm representing claimants, which provided her with behind-the-scenes understanding on how work injury cases are built, valued, and negotiated.
Marjorie joined Carpenter, McCadden & Lane in March of 2026. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, board games, and spending quality time with her family.
