Carrie A. Bowers graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown in 1999, where she earned a B.A. in political science and history. In 2002, she earned her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law.
Since 2002, Carrie has dedicated her practice to representing employers and insurance carriers in Pennsylvania workers’ compensation matters. After working as an associate for the firm early in her career, Carrie went on to work for several large regional defense firms, within which she quickly gained the confidence of clients by working closely with them to understand and advance their workers’ compensation programs. In September 2019, the firm welcomed Carrie back as a partner.
In addition to presenting on various workers’ compensation topics at seminars and training sessions, Carrie has served twice as a panelist at the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Annual Workers’ Compensation Fall Section Meeting.
Carrie was selected for inclusion in all issues of Philadelphia Magazine’s “Pennsylvania Super Lawyer – Rising Stars” Editions from 2008 – 2017, a listing which includes the top 2.5 percentage of attorneys in the Commonwealth who are 40 years of age or younger or have been practicing for less than 10 years
