Christina Zern

Overview

Christina M. Zern represents employers, insurers and third-party administrators against workers’ compensation claims throughout Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Temple University Fox School of Business and Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, receiving her Juris Doctorate degree in 2014. During law school, Christina worked as a law clerk, volunteered at the State Appellate Defender’s Office in Detroit, and completed three internships with the Defender Association of Philadelphia. After graduating from law school, Christina served as a judicial fellow to the Honorable Charles J. Cunningham III in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County, where she received a judicial fellowship pro bono award for her services. She also assisted indigent clients with real estate disputes through her involvement with Philadelphia Volunteers for the Indigent Program. 

Before joining Carpenter, McCadden & Lane, Christina worked for a regional defense firm where she defended all aspects of workers’ compensation matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She promptly investigates her claims, provides timely status updates, and engages in aggressive litigation and complex negotiation strategies to achieve cost-effective results.

Christina currently serves as the Secretary of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Workers’ Compensation Section. She is admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey and to the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania.
