Lawrence F. Barone is a 1990 graduate of Dickinson College where he obtained a B.A. in

History and was a member of the Judicial Review Board and was an All-American football

player. After graduation, he attended the Ohio Northern University School of Law where he

was an Executive Justice on the Moot Court Board and a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honors

Fraternity. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1993.

 

Attorney Barone was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1993, and has practiced worker’s

compensation and civil litigation ever since. Over the years, Attorney Barone has continued

practicing Worker’s Compensation and Civil litigation, providing his clients excellent service.

In 2021 and 2022, he was selected to the Top 100 Attorneys in Pennsylvania. He was

recognized as a member of Attorneys of Distinction from 2016 through 2022. He has been

selected by Susquehanna Style Magazine as a Select Lawyer based on peer evaluation for

Worker’s Compensation Law. Attorney Barone has taught in the Widener University School

of Law Intensive Trial Advocacy Program and taught continuing legal education seminars for

The Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the National Business Institute and The Pennsylvania Claims

Association.

 

Attorney Barone is certified as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law by

the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensation Law as authorized by

the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, since 2014.   Attorney Barone is a member of The U.S.

Supreme Court Bar, The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit Court, The U.S. District

Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and The U.S. District Court for the Western

District of Pennsylvania.
