Jenna Messa is a 2011 magna cum laude graduate of Widener University, where she earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice with a minor in Legal Studies and Analysis. Following graduation from college, she completed a year of service with the Americorps Program City Year, working with at risk youth at South Philadelphia High School. Jenna graduated magna cum laude from Widener University Delaware Law School in 2015, earning her Juris Doctor with Pro Bono distinction.
During law school, Jenna was the Vice President of the Moot Court Honor Society and received the Outstanding Board Member award from her peers for her work as the Vale Interschool Corporate Competition Chair. Additionally, Jenna founded and served as the Inaugural President of the Youth Court League, for which she earned the Martin Luther King Certificate of Service and Outstanding Student Service awards from Widener University. She was also a member of the Moe Levine Trial Advocacy Honor Society as well as the Order of the Barristers, a national honor society which recognizes students who exhibit excellence and attain high honors through the art of courtroom advocacy. Outside of the classroom, Jenna clerked for the Honorable Christopher Gibson of the New Jersey Superior Court and also served as a Certified Legal Intern for the Chester County District Attorney’s Office.
Jenna is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She joined Carpenter, McCadden & Lane, LLP in March of 2016.
