Victoria R. Fogel is a graduate of the University of Delaware where she received her Bachelor of Arts

degree in English with a concentration in journalism. She then attended the Villanova University School

of Law, graduating in 1993 with her Juris Doctorate degree. While at Villanova, Victoria was a member of

the Villanova Law Review. Her case note, “AIDSphobia: Forcing Courts to Face New Areas of

Compensation for Fear of a Deadly Disease,” was selected for publication in the Law Review. She was

admitted to the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of New Jersey and the District

Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 1993.

 

Since then, Victoria has worked exclusively as a workers’ compensation attorney defending employers,

self-insured entities and insurance carriers in Pennsylvania. After working as an associate attorney for

two Philadelphia-based regional insurance defense firms, she worked for a large workers’ compensation

insurance carrier for 20 years as a Senior Claims Attorney. Victoria joined Carpenter McCadden & Lane in April 2023.
