Overview
Kadiatou Barry earned her Bachelor of Science with Honors from Albright College in 2021, majoring in Business Administration and Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2025.
During law school, Kadiatou competed in both Negotiations and Mock trial competitions and worked as a Research Assistant, supporting research on contracts, liability, and international business law.
Kadiatou gained diverse legal experience through externships and internships. She served as a Family Law Legal Extern, where she drafted settlement agreements, motions, and client correspondence. As a Corporate Legal Intern, she analyzed legislation affecting the design and construction industry and reviewed vendor and partnership contracts. She also has experience with international matters, having conducted research on international compliance, procurement, and corporate governance for development projects in Ukraine.
Kadiatou is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and joined Carpenter, McCadden & Lane in August 2025.
