Overview
James T. Judd (J.T.) graduated from Brigham Young University in April 2022 with a Bachelor of
Arts in History, and a sub-specialty in Finnish. After BYU, J.T. went on to earn his Juris Doctor
from Penn State Dickinson Law at University Park in May 2025.
While attending law school, J.T. worked for the Penn State Law Intellectual Property Clinic,
helping clients to secure their IP interests regarding copyrights, patents, and trademarks. J.T.
was also selected for the Penn State Law Alternative Dispute Resolution competition team. This
experience enabled J.T. to learn and hone skills in mediation and arbitration.
Operating as a certified legal intern with the Delaware County Office of the District Attorney, J.T.
gained meaningful litigation experience appearing in court on behalf of the Commonwealth.
J.T. is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and joined Carpenter,
McCadden & Lane in September 2025.
