Caylee Jackson

Overview

Caylee Jackson earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies from Robert Morris University in 2022. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Akron School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude in 2025.

While in law school, Caylee had the privilege of serving as the Executive Editor of Student Writing for The Akron Law Review. She also served as a Legal Writing Fellow for second year students, and worked as a Research Assistant, focusing her research on Civil Procedure and its developments. Caylee gained meaningful courtroom experience during her time on Trial Team where she competed in both state-wide and national trial competitions. During her second year, Caylee earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Business Associations.

Prior to joining Carpenter, McCadden & Lane, Caylee acquired diverse legal experience by working on both criminal and civil matters. She worked as a law clerk for civil litigation firms in both Pennsylvania and Ohio, who collectively specialized in personal injury, wills & estates, business associations, and domestic relations matters. As a Legal Extern for the Allegheny District Attorney’s office, Caylee drafted various motions and briefs on behalf of the Commonwealth.

Caylee is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and in the State of Ohio. She joined Carpenter, McCadden & Lane in September of 2025.
